Gesture Drawing: Anatomical Gestures – 5

NOTE

In today’s practice, I realized that gesture drawing is essentially a guide line that represents the energy within a pose.

Because of that, it is impossible to fully draw gesture and complete anatomy within just a two-minute time limit.

To simplify the process, I focused only on essential guide lines that indicate anatomy, such as the chest line, pelvis line, shoulder line, spine line, and joint markers.

These lines alone are sufficient as a foundation for the next stage of drawing.

If the pose has a different orientation, using basic 3D shapes becomes necessary, although this approach usually takes more time compared to using simple 2D shapes.
