NOTE

Today I redrew the face assignment again—I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve done it, but I’ll tally it later.

In the first and second drawings, my brain slipped into detailing mode, and I only realized it by the third drawing. Looking back, the lines in the first two sketches were hesitant and looked more like shading, which is a common bad habit among beginner artists.

Because of that hesitation, I spent far more time finishing those drawings compared to yesterday.

The most important goal of this assignment is accuracy and speed, not detail. By “detail,” I mean being overly focused on anatomy instead of clear construction.
